The Sunshine Coast region is one of the fastest growing regions in Australia; in fact our population is estimated to increase from 270,000 people today to almost 500,000 people in 20 year's time. In order to manage and maximise the benefits from the projected high rate of growth, it is important that the region’s three Councils - Caloundra City and Maroochy and Noosa Shires, devise and implement strategies to achieve the coordinated development of our local and regional economies.
