Tougher Times - Smarter Business - This program is funded by the Australian Government Small Business Advisory Services initiative which is administered through AusIndustry.  It is designed to assist small businesses maximise their growth potential and sustain their businesses through enhacing their access to information and advice.

The program incorporates Business Clinics as well as a series of workshops focused on key business fundamentals specifically designed for small businesses which will run from June to December 2009. 

Growing Creative Business –This is a skills development and mentoring program for small to medium enterprises that have high prospects for growth.  The 18-month program delivered to 100 regional based businesses is funded through partnership contributions by the Australian Government, local government and the in-kind support of mentors and businesses in our region. 

TRAC Consulting have been contracted to deliver the innovative face-to-face and virtual classroom skills development curriculum. The program has been specifically tailored to meet the needs of Sunshine Coast businesses and includes an emphasis on best practice finacial, human resource and environmental management systems.

SUNED – This is a collaborative industry lead project aimed at marketing Sunshine Coast as an international student destination.  The project also aims to leverage stronger collaborative business relationships between institutional and private providers of education across diverse disciplines ranging from business and trade qualifications at certificate 2-4 level, Diploma  and Degree levels, to teaching English as a second language within the Sunshine Coast.

Sports Business - This collaborative industry lead project brings together venue managers, sporting and event organisers, retailers and leisure industry businesses. The project aims to increase the economic benefits from the sports and leisure industry within the region.

Chambers Alliance - Sunshine Coast Enterprises initiated the Chambers Alliance project to enable collaboration amongst the region's chambers of commerce.  Services include assisting Chambers value-add to membership services, retain local area identity and build collaborative working relationships across the Coast.

Sunshine Coast Enterprise is supporting the development and implementation of business planning and governance instruments that are easy to use and suit the needs of Chambers.  Through the development of a CHAMBER TOOLKIT, and the Combined Chambers ENews, Sunshine Coast Enterprises is assisting the growth of a stronger small to medium enterprise sector

Revitalising Bulcock Street – Sunshine Coast Enterprises in collaboration with the Caloundra Chamber of Commerce and other community stakeholders, is exploring a placemaking project to ensure the village ambience and retail competitiveness of Caloundra’s Bulcock Street is retained and enhanced.
