Visionary Business Leaders NEEDED- Voluntary Strategic Role

Sunshine Coast Enterprises P/L is seeking nominations for two positions on the volunteer Board of Directors. Directors are responsible for the governance and performance of the company. The company is managed by a Board of Directors (unpaid) and accepts operational funding from Sunshine Coast Regional Council. Council is the sole shareholder in the company. A paid executive team assists the Board achieve goals agreed between Council and the Board.

Nominees for Board membership will need skills, experience and strengths that reflect:

• a commitment to regional development and enterprise enhancement with a particular interest in the south area of Sunshine Coast
• sound experience in strategic planning and thinking
• an understanding of  the imperatives that drive enterprise growth across various industry sectors including rural enterprise
• the ability to take a holistic view to enterprise development and achievement of sustainable triple bottom line outcomes
• enthusiasm, commitment and capacity to devote reasonable time to the good governance of the company
